Amber Stewart

Amber Stewart was born and raised in Nashville, TN, by parents who barely tolerated country music. At age 18, she moved to Brooklyn, NY to attend Pratt Institute. There, she received a B.F.A. in writing before going on to attain a M.S.Ed. from Long Island University. After 8 years in New York, she returned to Nashville where she teaches, writes, and watches a lot of movies. She currently works at the Nashville Public Library and is pursuing her M.A. in English at Belmont University. She writes primarily about film, queer identity, and mental health.
